Our IT Management Consulting Group is growing and we’re currently seeking an experienced Graphic Designer for our Department of State (DOS) client. This position requires strong expertise web design and support services to create websites, web products, and PDF documents to incorporate on all DOS client web properties. 

This position will be 100% at the client’s site in Washington, DC. A minimum of a Secret clearance is required. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide web design and support services, as needed using appropriate tools that are on the standard baseline established by DOS.

  • Create dynamic web pages adhering to established style sheets and templates as well as creating and updating these when necessary.

  • Create and optimize graphic images to specification to incorporate on web properties and create websites, web products, and PDF documents.

  • Provide support to add or improve existing functionality; coordinate version or baseline upgrades; develop and maintain documentation.

  • Provide real-time updates to web content and maintain specified portions of the office’s web properties.

  • Support the daily activity of adding new and removing extraneous documentations and presentations, update web pages, and work with other support Contractors and Government staff to ensure that all web pages are kept up to date and fully accessible to all authorized customers.

  • Enhance structured processes; document standards, including developing, publishing, and maintaining content for all the office web properties; and, as needed, provide assistance to the Government in content development and maintenance.

  • Engage and coordinate with designated or responsible Government staff to ensure that all materials are approved for publication; easy to access; easily understood; presented clearly and attractively; quick to load; and published in a timely fashion on deadline.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Marketing or other related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in a Federal consulting environment providing website and product support.

  • Must understand and perform content management functions such as document organization using SharePoint and other central stores for documentation.

  • Must be an expert in Adobe and the Microsoft Office suite of products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Must have experience with a design tool such as Dreamweaver or Photoshop.

  • Must have experience with designing and implementing pages on MS SharePoint.

  • Must have experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

  • Must have with knowledge and experience with utilizing the UX design methods and techniques.

  • Must have strong creative skills.

  • Must have 508 compliance experience.
